The film tells the story of the beautiful princess Giselle (Amy Adams ), which an evil queen (Susan Sarandon) expelled from their magical, musical world. Giselle face the stark reality of the streets of Manhattan. Immersed in an environment in which the "happily ever were" not working, Giselle wanders through a chaotic world badly in need of enchantment. But Giselle falls for a divorce lawyer but nothing perfect charming (Patrick Dempsey) who decides to help. Although their world is promised to the fairy tale prince (James Marsden), is the question: can a storybook view of romance survive in the real world?
