I leave the body on a rock
(desire to be on the bank of a river)
a cricket fits in my hearing
that mice tangled in my hair
veins trace the ants on my skin the spider
tile a veil on my eyelashes
  and that now engulfs
  groans, trailing
remain still only hair, skin and bones
covering a cavity on a rock at the edge of a river
